Gloucester Township Lacrosse is asking ALL participants (Players, Parents, Friends, Family, Coaches and Officials) to follow safety precautions with respect to ANY GT Lacrosse gatherings or events, including but not limited to practices and games.
While Gloucester Township Lacrosse is not banning fans from any of its events, we strongly encourage those individuals to use their best judgment and practice the recommended safety measures like wearing a cloth or surgical masks and maintaining social distancing while walking on or near the fields. This includes the Visitor and Home Stands, the Snack Stand area, the Lacrosse Shed and the Scoreboard. To better outline and define the field areas, any person within the established walking paths that encircle our fields (GT Home Lacrosse Field, Stallions Field or Wye Oak Field) should be wearing a mask and practicing good social distancing.
Please use your own discretion when evaluating risks associated with attending or participating in any GT Lacrosse events, including those events that are ‘Away’ events and/or visiting other township fields. We are requesting that anyone who has tested positive for Covid-19, been exposed to Covid-19, experiencing symptoms or awaiting test results, to please remain home. Individuals who are vaccinated will still be required to adhere to policy guidelines.
During our season, prior to every practice, all participating members of the GT Lacrosse Program will be completing the GT Health Check Form as well as having their temperatures taken prior to participating in that day’s events. During Home games, both GT Lacrosse members and visiting teams will also be required to submit a completed GT Health Check form as well as have their temperatures checked. Officials and Coaches will also wear masks while not actively engaged in the day’s events or simply in proximity of any other team members or staff.
Every Away game, when members are visiting other townships and fields, ALL GT Lacrosse members will be required to complete BOTH the GT Health Check Form/Temperature check AS WELL AS the hosting teams Covid-19 precautionary measures. Those requirements will be provided prior to the game and MUST BE ADHERED to or you may be asked to leave the sports complex/area/field etc.
If you have any questions regarding GT Lacrosse Covid-19 policy, please contact us at gloucestertownshiplacrosse@gmail.com.

• Collecting health questionnaires (or you may electronically submit) at every session and requiring all players to check their temperature prior to participating and random on-site temperature checks.
• Cleaning and disinfecting all equipment between use and ensuring safe and correct use and storage of disinfectants. We ask you to do the same with your own equipment prior to and after games/practices.
• Reducing physical closeness or contact between players when possible by discouraging unnecessary physical contact, such as high-fives, handshakes, and hugs.
• Promoting healthy hygiene practices by providing hand sanitizer at all practices and home games.
• Providing each team with exclusive practice time and locations.
• Eliminating sharing or shared water bottles. Players must have their own, well marked containers to participate in team activities.
**During gameplay, any non active players or spectators not actively watching active players, will be asked to exit the competition area including snack stand, turf, bleachers and other areas occupied by active teams**
Anyone who is sick or has been in contact with someone who has COVID-19 should not attend practices or games. Be on the lookout for symptoms of COVID-19, which include fever, cough, or shortness of breath. Call your doctor if you think you or a family member is sick. We look forward to seeing everyone with a stick in hand this season.
